Q. Why doesn't the hot tub leak?
A. It does at first, but as the water swells the wood, all the joints close up and
the tub becomes watertight.
Q. How long does the water take to heat up?
A. About 3-4 hours depending
on the surrounding air temperature and the quality of the firewood used.
Q. How often does the water need to be changed?
A. If used regularly,
about once or twice a week. If the optional water filtration is fitted, the period can be extended to once every ten weeks.
Q. What do
I need to do to look after my hot tub?
A. Keep it clean. When not being used for long periods, ie. over winter, we recommend covering it with
a tarpaulin.
Once a year, give the outside a coat of Danish
Oil.
