J M C Woodcraft is a small family run business based in South East Cornwall.

It is owned and run by Jeremy Cashen from near Tideford, where he lives with his wife, Sam and their three children. Jeremy started the business in 1996, after working in commercial forrestry since leaving school.

 Feeling disillusioned with the commercial exploitation of trees and woodland, he enrolled on an arboricultural course  at Merrist Wood College in Guildford.

After successfully completing the course, he started his own tree surgery business.

 Trading as J M C Tree Services the business has expanded to include woodland management and production of high quality timber products.

These  include beams, lintels,doors and flooring etc. in hard and softwood for the building trade and self builders (especially for restorations and conversions).

When not working or spending time with his family, Jeremy's many interests include fishing off the rocks around the Cornish coast and shooting.
